Slovakian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI)The history of the Commercial and Industrial Chambers on the territory of the Slovak Republic is dated back to the first half of the last century. Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Bratislava, Banska Bystrica and Kosice were the driving forces of the enterpreneurial activities development in Slovakia. These activities and traditions continues by the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry which was set up on the basis of the Act No. 9/1992 of the Slovak National Council. The Bratislava Regional Chamber, the biggest one in Slovakia, was set up on February 1992 and covers services for about 1.000 companies registered in the company register. Most of our members ( the number of Bratislava´s region members is 560 ) consists of limited liability companies and joint stock companies. As for the number of employees and the turnover, the majority of our members belongs to the category of small and medium-sized companies. |
